carefully selected and marked to offer a FAST, first response to an
emergency! Included are; Mini flares and launcher, hand held flares, dye
marker, signal mirror, strobe-flashlight combo, whistle, lightsticks, knife,
candle, wood bung, survival tool, compass, waterproof note pad, pencil,
marine bands, land survival guide and the special Grab a Life™ practical
marine survival guide. The remainder of the kit offers a great variety of
items and equipment designed to be ultimately functional and reliable in an
emergency situation.
SURVIVAL GUIDES
The Grab
a Life™ marine survival guide offers practical help for many typical marine
emergency situations. The land survival guide offers many practical
solutions for surviving near the beach and on land.
FIRST AID
The first aid
kit was designed to include more than 50 items ranging from anti-nauseant
pills and suppositories, sea bands, sunscreen, sting relief, bandaging,
antiseptic cream, folding scissors, to a first aid guide and much more!
THE CREW
Emergency
blankets, gloves, hats, towel and chemical hand warmers keep crew warm in an
emergency. Matches in a waterproof container, candle, magnesium fire
starter, and pieces of tinder are also included.
FOOD AND WATER
Individual packages of water, a water bottle and packaged emergency food
bars are standard. The Grab a Life™ survival guide also offers tips on how
to make emergency solar and distillation stills.
FISHING
The ability to
live off the sea is an important part of our survival strategy. Over 50
items are included in the fishing kit including hand line, leaders, weights,
lures, plenty of hooks and much more.
NAVIGATION
The compass,
note pad, pencil and navigational tips in the Grab a Life™ survival guide
are essential in tracking your position.
HARDWARE
The ability to
improvise is key in any emergency situation. To do that successfully tools
and hardware are needed. The Grab a Life™ hardware kit offers over 60
carefully selected items. Sandpaper, aluminum foil, assorted stainless steel
nuts and bolts, washers, screws, wire, electrical wire, hose, clamps, cotter
pins, plastic ties, butyl, Velcro, glue's and epoxy putty are some of the
many items included. Of course assorted lines, bungy cord, surgical tubing,
waxed twine, needles and thread are also included.
TOOLS
Full size knife,
multi tool, adjustable wrench, finger saw, can opener, screw driver with
multiple bits and a pair of swim goggles are included.
